Baker, a junior third baseman from East Ridge, Tenn., helped lead the Lady Mocs to the Austin Peay Classic title, as Chattanooga went 5-0 during the tournament. She recorded a 1.462 slugging percentage with four home runs. Baker also tallied eight runs on seven hits and was walked four times to bring her on-base percentage to .647.

In UTC's 7-6 win against Butler Friday, Baker hit a three-run home run that proved to be the game winner. Her two homers in the game were a career high.

She currently has 23 career home runs, good for fourth on the UTC career list. Baker paces the Lady Mocs with a .458 batting average, 10 RBI and a 1.083 overall slugging percentage.

A senior from Locust Grove, Ga., Loudermilk earned three wins at the Austin Peay Classic. She tallied 29 strikeouts in 18.0 innings, allowing just six hits, two walks and no earned runs. Loudermilk recorded double-digit strikeouts in two of the three games.

Against Northern Iowa, she retired the first nine batters she faced on her way to 13 strikeouts in the game.

Loudermilk is currently 4-1 on the season with one save. Her only loss came in a 1-0 decision against No. 10 Oklahoma. She has 49 strikeouts in 31.2 innings pitched and a 0.44 ERA.

The Lady Mocs return to action Friday when they host the Frost Classic. They will take on Rutgers at 3 p.m., followed by Kansas at 5:30 p.m.

Also receiving nominations for player of the week were Appalachian State's Katie Boyd, College of Charleston's Kristie Shifflett, Elon's Danielle Lafferty and Samford's Alex Adams.
