SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Wofford forward Noah Dahlman has been named the Southern Conference Player of the Week for all games played November 30-December 6 the league office announced Tuesday (Dec. 7).  Dahlman averaged 26.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and made 64.5 percent of his field goals as the Terriers earned conference victories over UNCG (92-70) and Elon (75-69) last week. 

Dahlman scored 16 points against UNCG in the SoCon opener for both teams.  He connected on 7-of-12 field goal attempts and was 2-for-2 from the free throw line against the Spartans in 27 minutes of action.  The senior forward posted a career-high 37 points in Wofford's victory at Elon Saturday night.  Dahlman was 13-of-19 from the field and added eight rebounds, two assists and one steal against the Phoenix as the Terriers moved to 2-0 in league play. 

A native of Braham, Minn., Dahlman ranks third in the Southern Conference in scoring (19.8 ppg) and fifth in field goal percentage (.568).  He is third in the league in offensive rebounds (3.0 rpg).

The Terriers (4-5, 2-0 SoCon) return to action Saturday night when they visit South Carolina.

Other top performers in the Southern Conference included Appalachian State's Donald Sims, College of Charleston's Donovan Monroe, The Citadel's Austin Dahn, Davidson's Jake Cohen, Furman's Noah States, Georgia Southern's Tre Bussey, Samford's Jeffrey Merritt, Chattanooga's Keegan Bell and Western Carolina's Mike Williams.
