The senior from Fairmont, N.C., helped lead UNCG to a pair of conference wins by averaging close to a double-double in victories against Wofford and Furman.  For the week, Floyd averaged 19.0 points and 9.0 rebounds 4.0 assists and 3.0 steals per contest.  In the two games, she had eight total assists to just one turnover.

Against Wofford on Saturday, Floyd registered the third double-double of her career with a team-high 15 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, which also matched her career-high.  Half of her rebounds came of the offensive glass.  She also added four assists and three steals against the Terriers.

In Monday's matchup against Furman, Floyd scored a career-high 23 points and pulled down a game-high eight rebounds.  She dished out another four assists without committing a turnover and grabbed three more steals against the Paladins.

Floyd and the Spartans have 11 days off before they return to action against Davidson on Dec. 31.

Other top performers in the opening week of play were Appalachian State's Sam Ramirez, Chattanooga's Whitney Hood, College of Charleston's Tonia Gerty, Elon's Ali Ford, Georgia Southern's Mimi DuBose, Samford's Savannah Hill, Western Carolina's Janae' McKinney and Wofford's Logan Morris.
