SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Furman freshman midfielder Josh Fusan has been chosen as the Southern Conference men's soccer player of the week for all matches on November 2.
Fusan scored his first career goal, the game-winner, in the 74th minute to lift Furman over Wofford 2-1 and give the Paladins a share of the Southern Conference regular season title on Tuesday night in Spartanburg. Less than nine minutes after Furman equalized, Walker Jernigan fed Fusan who poked a shot into the side-netting to give the Paladins the lead for good.
