Chattanooga?s Henry Named Player of the Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Chattanooga junior forward Donna-Kay Henry has been chosen as the Southern Conference women's soccer player of the week for all matches from October 18-24.

Henry scored three second-half goals Friday at Georgia Southern to complete Chattanooga's rally in a 4-1 win. With the score knotted 1-1, Henry took a pass from Becca Smith and beat the keeper to notch the game-winner in the 50th minute. The junior added two more tallies to push her total nine on the season.

Other Nominees: Jessica Smith (Furman), Jessie Baxa (Davidson), Alyssa Whitehead (Samford), Katie Tate (College of Charleston), Katie Evans (UNCG), Mariana Garcia (The Citadel), Chelsey Stark (Elon) and Chelsea Ashworth (Wofford).
