SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Southern Conference and SportSouth have announced the first of two Wild Card selections for the league's football television package.  The November 13 game between Wofford and Appalachian State in Boone, N.C., will be added to the league's broadcast schedule.  The game is scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. kickoff at Kid Brewer Stadium.

The Mountaineers, ranked No. 1 in both major FCS polls, are currently 6-0 this season with a 4-0 mark in league play.  Appalachian State earned a 39-10 victory over The Citadel on Saturday.  The Mountaineers visits Western Carolina this weekend in a game that can be seen on SportSouth at 3:00 p.m.

Wofford (5-1, 3-0 SoCon) is currently ranked No. 9 in the Sports Network Poll and No. 10 in the FCS Coaches Poll.  Wofford knocked off Western Carolina, 45-14 this past weekend and visits Elon on Saturday.

A second Wild Card matchup scheduled for November 20 will be announced at a later date.
