GREENVILLE, S.C. ? Furman’s Sept. 19 football game at Missouri will be televised by Fox Sports Net on a pay-per-view basis, it was announced today.  Kickoff for the contest has been set for 2:00 p.m. ET (1:00 p.m. CT).

The game will be produced and distributed through FSN’s pay-per-view division and available to participating cable systems in the region and nationwide to satellite and telco customers.

Additional information about pricing and how to purchase the telecast, including a list of participating cable systems and satellite providers, will be announced leading up to the game.  Details will be posted on foxsports.com/midwest and announced through www.furmanpaladins.com as they become available.

Participating cable and satellite providers will offer the telecast to their customers on a specially designated pay-per-view channel.  It is expected that Charter, Time Warner, Mediacom, Suddenlink and many more cable providers, along with DirecTV, Dish Network and AT&TU-Verse, will offer the game.  Fans are encouraged to order prior to game day, since some cable systems may be busy taking last-minute orders.  The telecast will not pre-empt FSN's regularly scheduled programming.

The addition of Furman-Missiouri game gives Furman six television exposures for the 2009 season. The Paladins’ Sept. 5 season opener versus Presbyterian and Sept. 26 contest against Western Carolina will be televised by My40 TV.  Furman’s Oct. 3 clash with Elon and Nov. 21 encounter versus Wofford will be aired by Fox Sports South, and the Paladins’ Oct. 31 game against Appalachian State will be televised by WLOS-TV.

Kickoff and any television plans for Furman’s Nov. 7 game versus Auburn have yet to be announced.
