TUSCALOOSA, Ala. --- Due to strong storms in the Tuscaloosa, Ala. area, the start of the Chattanooga softball team's game against Mississippi Valley State has been delayed.

Play has been halted in the Alabama-Texas game in the bottom of the fifth inning with the Crimson Tide leading 4-1. The Lady Mocs and Delta Devilettes will begin their contest 30 minutes after the completion of Alabama and Texas.

There is currently no timetable for play to resume.
