CHARLESTON, S.C. ? The Citadel’s baseball game against Charleston Southern, a game that was added to the schedule a few weeks ago, has been postponed due to the threat of inclement weather in the Charleston area. The game will be made up at a later date.

The two teams had added the game to the 2009 schedule after both schools had games canceled earlier in the season. Once a make-up date has been scheduled, it will be announced on CitadelSports.com.

The Citadel will face Savannah State on Tuesday, April 14 at 4 p.m. in a doubleheader with the Charleston RiverDogs at Riley Park. Fans attending The Citadel’s game will be permitted to remain in the stadium for the RiverDogs’ game which has an 8:05 p.m. scheduled start time. Tickets from The Citadel game are valid for a general admission seats during the RiverDogs game on all doubleheaders this season.
