SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? Furman’s Stefanie Kenoyer has been named the Southern Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for all tournaments from March 25-31, the conference office announced Wednesday. The league’s weekly award is voted on by the women’s golf sports information directors.

Kenoyer fired a five-over par score of 219 (76-69-77) to finish third this week at the John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate at the Eagle's Landing Golf Club in Stockbridge, Ga.  The Lighthouse Point, Fla., native was the top SoCon finisher and helped the Paladins finish second to 36th-ranked and host Georgia State while finishing ahead of top 50 programs Chattanooga and East Tennessee State. The sophomore is the second Paladin to claim the honor this season.

Also nominated for this week’s award were Samford’s Sara Hunt, UNC Greensboro’s Sofia Aidemark and The Citadel’s Bree Baumgartner.
