College of Charleston Ranked 30th By Collegiate Baseball

Charleston, S.C. -- The College of Charleston baseball team is ranked 30th in the latest Collegiate Baseball Top 30 poll released on Monday.

 

The Cougars, winners of five in a row and 14 of 15, are 17-3 overall and sit atop the Southern Conference standings with an 8-1 league record.  The Cougars are coming off a weekend sweep at Samford.

 

The Cougars play host to 28th-ranked South Carolina at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Patriots Point Stadium.

 

The "Collegiate Baseball" newspaper poll is the oldest college baseball poll. Its birth took place during the 1957 college baseball season.
