ELON, N.C. -- A once promising evening forecast proved incorrect and more steady rains knocked yet another Elon Phoenix baseball game off the schedule as the game with the Princeton Tigers slated for Monday night was cancelled.  Elon has now had three straight games rained out while Princeton has seen five consecutive games cancelled by the rain.

The Phoenix will return to the diamond with a 6:30 p.m. game at North Carolina State on Wednesday evening before returning home for a three-game league set with Furman beginning on Friday.
