FRIDAY FURMAN-OHIO BASEBALL GAME CANCELED
GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman’s Friday afternoon baseball game against Ohio Univeristy has been canceled due to steady rains in the Upstate, Paladin head coach Ron Smith has announced.
Saturday’s scheduled doubleheader between the Paladins and Bobcats is set to get underway at 1:00 p.m., and the series finale is slated for Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
Wofford Baseball Postponed Due To Rain
SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Due to rain in the area on Friday, the first game of the series against Xavier has been postponed.
Saturday's double header against Xavier is tentatively scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm, weather permitting. The two teams will play a double header on Sunday beginning at 1:00 pm.
Weekend Baseball Schedule Adjusted Due to Weather Concerns
DAVIDSON, N.C. -- This weekend's baseball schedule at Wilson Field has been adjusted due to concerns with weather, with the Davidson Wildcats and the Cincinnati Bearcats scheduled to play four games.
Because of heavy rain expected this weekend, the scheduled games with Georgetown and Pennsylvania have been canceled.
Instead, Davidson and Cincinnati will play Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m. and a double-header Sunday beginning at 1 p.m.
Change in Schedule for this Weekend's Baseball Series against Coppin State
Game One of the series will still be played at 7 p.m. tonight; doubleheader now scheduled for Saturday
STATESBORO, Ga. - Sunday's game against Coppin State has been moved up to Saturday due to impending bad weather.
First pitch for Friday's series opener is still scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight. Georgia Southern and Coppin State will now play a doubleheader Saturday starting at 11 a.m. The second game in the series will follow at 2:30 p.m.
Every game will be broadcasted on the Georgia Southern Radio Network. Ryan Chambers will call the action on Eagle 102.9 FM Friday. Saturday’s broadcasts will be on 107.3 FM.
