INDIANAPOLIS ? The NCAA and ESPN have announced that Saturday’s ESPN-produced broadcast of the NCAA Division I Football Championship quarterfinal between Appalachian State University and Richmond will be carried locally on MTN 18 in Boone and regionally on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN). Kickoff between No. 5 Appalachian (10-2) and fourth-seeded Richmond (11-1) is set for 7 p.m. at UR Stadium in Richmond, Va.
MTN 18 is available in homes throughout the High Country while MASN’s footprint covers a seven-state area from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. For fans outside of the MTN or MASN viewing areas, the broadcast will be carried nationally as part of the ESPN GamePlan pay-per-view package as well as streamed online at ESPN360.com. Check with your cable, satellite and/or internet service providers for availability of ESPN GamePlan and ESPN360.com in your area.
Justin Kutcher (play-by-play) and Doug Chapman (analyst) will call all of the action for the television broadcast.
