Junior Led Keydets to Win over Gardner-Webb

SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? VMI junior Ronnie Ellsworth has been selected as the Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week for all competition from December 9-15.

Ellsworth improved to 5-2 on the season with his 4-1 decision against Gardner-Webb’s Travis Porter on Friday night. That win gave him a 2-0 record in duals this season and clinched VMI’s 21-15 dual victory against the Bulldogs.  Ellsworth, who wrestles at 197 pounds, also currently ranks second on the team in wins.
