BOONE, N.C. ? Saturday’s NCAA Division I Football Championship quarterfinal between fourth-seeded Richmond and No. 5 Appalachian State University will kick off at 7 p.m., the NCAA announced on Sunday. The game will be played at UR Stadium in Richmond, Va.

The game will be televised nationally as part of ESPN’s GamePlan package and online at ESPN360.com. The broadcast is also available for syndication. Any local stations or networks that pick up the broadcast will be listed at GoASU.com.

Appalachian (10-2) and Richmond (11-1) are squaring off in the postseason for the third-straight year. ASU topped UR, 55-35, in the 2007 national semifinals but the Spiders ended the Mountaineers’ run of three-consecutive national titles with a 33-13 win in last year’s quarterfinals. Appalachian and Richmond have combined to win the last four national championships (ASU in 2005, ?06 and ?07 and UR in ?08).
