SPARTANBURG, S.C. - UNC Greensboro senior Thomas Campbell has been named the Southern Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for all games played October 13-19. Campbell helped UNC Greensboro snap a three-game losing streak with a five-point effort in a 3-1 win over Gardner-Webb Saturday night.
Campbell assisted on Matt Foxx's goal in the eighth minute to give the Spartans a 1-0 lead over the Bulldogs. The Middletown, N.J., native tallied a goal of his own just two minutes later to give UNCG a 2-0 lead.
