ELON, N.C. ? Elon University women’s tennis coach Elizabeth Anderson has announced the 2008 Phoenix fall women’s tennis schedule, which begins next week when the team heads off to the UNC Wilmington Landfall Invitational on Sept. 12-14.
 
“We are looking forward competing again,” Anderson said. “During the tournaments we have scheduled this fall, we will compete against several teams that were nationally ranked at one time or another this past spring. We are confident that we have put together a fall schedule that will help prepare us for another strong Southern Conference schedule in the spring.”

Elon will visit the College of William and Mary Invitational on Sept. 19-21 before coming home to the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center to host Campbell University, Longwood University and USC Upstate at the Elon Invitational on Oct. 10-11.

The Phoenix will also send athletes to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Tournament on Oct. 22-27 at Wake Forest University and a doubles tournament at the Cary Tennis Center on Oct 24-26.
