Four Earn All-America Baseball Honors

College of Charleston's Jeremie Tice, Michael Harrington and Brandon Sizemore along with Elon pitcher Steven Hensley were named to the Louisville Slugger TPX All-America team.

 

Tice, a third baseman, batted .393 with 25 home runs this season for the Cougars, and earned first-team All-America honors. Teammates Harrington and Sizemore each earned third-team recognition. Harrington, a first baseman, batted .316 with 26 home runs this season and Sizemore, a second baseman, batted .325 with 24 home runs. 

 

All-SoCon and Pitcher of the Year Hensley was named to the third team after posting a 10-1 record with a 3.34 earned run average. Hensley, who was named a freshman All-American in 2006, is the first Phoenix player to receive All-America honors.
