Round One
Hollywood, S.C.-Stefanie Kenoyer of Furman, shot a two-under 70 to help Furman take a three shot advantage on day one of the Southern Conference Women’s Golf Championship presented by Seven Falls Golf and River Club at the Links at Stono Ferry.
Furman’s women’s team shot a six-over par, 294 for a three shot lead over UNC Greensboro. Kenoyer, Jaclyn Hilea, Corrine Carr and Blair Lamb all finished in the top 15.
Elon’s Danielle Mills finished second one-shot back of the leader. Mills fired a one-under 71 to help Elon to third place.
UNC Greensboro finished second with four out of their five players finishing in the top 13.
Second round play begins at 8:00 a.m. on Monday with all teams teeing off from the first tee.
