SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? Furman’s Stefanie Kenoyer has been named Southern Conference women’s golfer of the week for March 26.

A freshman from Lighthouse Point, Fla., Kenoyer shot 233 to finish 33^rd overall and lead Furman to a 14th place finish at this past weekend's Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens, Ga. The Paladins (318-314-312) improved in each round to finish five strokes ahead of 25th-ranked Texas A&M and 12 strokes in front of No. 19 Vanderbilt in a field that included 14 of the top 30 teams in the country and the top two rated individuals in the nation.
