Southern Conference champion Davidson landed three players on the league’s all-tournament team as did runner-up Elon in a vote of the media attending the tournament. College of Charleston had two players earn all-tournament recognition while UNC Greensboro and Wofford each had one player make the all-league team.

 

Davidson’s Stephen Curry was a unanimous choice as the tournament’s MVP. Teammate Jason Richards also landed a spot on the first-team. Thomas Sander earned second-team recognition.

 

Elon’s Montell Watson and Brett James were named first-team all-tournament and Ola Atoyebi earned a spot on the second team.

 

UNC Greensboro’s Kyle Hines, was voted to the first team and Dustin Scott and Tony White, Jr. of College of Charleston earned second-team recognition. Wofford’s Drew Gibson earned a spot on the second team.

 

Davidson earned the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament by defeating Elon, 65-49, in the championship game.
