In conjunction with the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association, the Southern Conference has designated Saturday, February 9 as “Think Pink” day at all women’s basketball games played in the Conference that day. The initiative is part of the national effort to raise awareness of breast cancer treatment, prevention and research.

At each of the five SoCon women’s basketball games, players, coaches, managers and scorer’s table personnel will wear pink ribbons. Ladies’ compacts -- featuring the words “Think Pink,” and bearing the Conference’s 25th anniversary of women’s sports logo, will be distributed to the first 150 females in attendance at each site.
