Georgia Southern Louis Graham and Davidson’s Stephen Curry were named the Southern Conference Co-Players of the Week for the week ending February 4.

 

Graham averaged 26.0 points in games against Western Carolina and Chattanooga last week. He was 18-of-32 (56.3 percent) from the field and 16-of-21 (76.2 percent) from the line. He grabbed 12 rebounds and had five steals. He set a career-high with 27 points on Jan. 31 at Chattanooga.

 

Curry averaged 29.0 points leading the Wildcats to wins over Wofford (78-65 on Jan. 30) and Chattanooga 78-71 on Feb. 2). The sophomore made 18-of-38 (47.4 percent) from the field, 10-of-22 (45.5 percent) from three-point range and 12-of-14 (85.7 percent) from the line. Curry is fifth in the nation in scoring, averaging 24.4 points per game.

 

Other standout performances were turned in by Chattanooga’s Kevin Bridgewaters, Western Carolina’s Brandon Giles, UNC Greensboro’s Dwayne Johnson, Elon’s Brett James and Wofford’s Drew Gibson.
