SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? The Southern Conference announced today that Appalachian State’s Terreyl Williams has been named the Wrestler of the Week.

Williams, a senior from Durham, N.C., recorded three wins this week against Liberty, VMI and Carson-Newman.  Williams defeated Christian Smith of Liberty by a major decision, VMI’s Ryan Goodsell by decision and Carson-Newman’s Drew Roberts by technical fall.

Williams overall record is 19-14.
