The championship match of the 2008 Women's Soccer Championship gets underway on Sunday, November 9 beginning at 1 p.m. with top-seeded UNC Greensboro taking on second-seeded Western Carolina. The Spartans advanced to the final by edging Furman in penalty kicks on Friday. Western Carolina picked up a 1-0 win over Samford to a notch a spot in the final.
