SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? Furman cross country runner Megan Lordi has been named this week’s Southern Conference Women’s Runner of the Week as voted on by the conference’s head cross country coaches, the league office announced Wednesday.

Lordi led the Paladins to a second-place finish as hosts of the Furman Invitational Saturday. The junior won the race in a time of 18:10, which was a personal best by 2:30.
