SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? The Southern Conference announced today that UNC Greensboro’s Jeff Hedges has been named the Wrestler of the Week.
Hedges, a senior from Havre, Mont., was undefeated in three duals meets. Hedges defeated Davidson’s Alex Radsky 10-2, American’s Matt Mariacher 8-2 and Virginia’s Eric Albright who was ranked No.10 in the USA Today/InterMat/NWCA by technical fall.
Hedges is undefeated in his last six matches recording three major decisions, two falls and one decision. He is ranked 19th by USA Today/Intermat/NWCA at 133- pound weight class.
