SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? The Southern Conference announced today that Appalachian State’s Eddie Hutchinson has been named the Wrestler of the Week.

Hutchinson, a senior from Brandon, Fla., was a perfect 4-0 at the Lone Star Duals.  Hutchinson defeated #20 Jeff Marsh of Michigan 4-2 to garner one of the two wins against Michigan.  He improved his record to 8-8 on the season and scored his third pin with a pin in 44 seconds over Adam Aho of North Dakota State.     

Hutchinson helped the team to a 3-1 record with wins over North Dakota State, Eastern Michigan and Air Force.
