SPARTANBURG, S.C. ?Furman’s Margaret Antonik was named the Southern Conference Student- Athlete of the Week.  Antonik, a sophomore on the Lady Paladins soccer team, has a 3.8 grade point average and recently received the Wylie Math Scholarship.

Antonik, a Lakeland, Fla., native, tallied four assists while leading Furman to a 2-0 record this past week.  She had two assists in Furman’s 5-1 victory at UNC Asheville on Thursday.  In Sunday’s victory over Charleston Southern she added two more assists including setting up her teammate Sara El-Shami for the game winner.
