SPARTANBURG, S.C. ?The cross country coaches selected Todd Wilde of Appalachian State as the Men’s Runner of the Week for September 24.

Wilde, a sophomore from Charlotte, North Carolina finished eighth out of 55 runners at the Lenoir-Rhyne.  His time of 27:14 was his personal best for a 5k course.  Wilde paced his team with a seventh place finish behind regional ranked No.6 Virginia Tech.

Honorable Mention:  Heather Goldstein of Appalachian State finished 12th in a field of 60 runners at the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational.  She ran a time of 20:30 on the rolling 5k course.
