SPARTANBURG, S.C. ?The cross country coaches selected Caroline Sanker of Davidson as the Women’s Runner of the Week for September 17.

Caroline, a junior psychology major from Rocky River, Ohio, won the Asics/Winthrop Invitational with the time of 17:12 beating her teammate Brenna Burns by eight seconds.  She lead the Wildcats to a team victory at the Asics/Winthrop Invitational.

Other top Performer: Jen Povick, a senior from Appalachian State finished third in the Mountaineer Open with a  personal best of 18:48 on a wet and muddy course.
