SPARTANBURG, S.C. ?Three Southern Conference teams are ranked in the top 15 of the most recent United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association regional poll.  Appalachian State men’s and women’s teams are No.13 and No.15 and Davidson’s women’s team is ranked No.9 in the Southeast region.

Chattanooga’s men and women are both ranked in the South region with the men’s team No.14 and the women’s team No.8.

All three cross country teams are in action this weekend with Appalachian State hosting the Mountaineer Open, Davidson is at the Catamount Classic and Chattanooga is at the Western Kentucky Open.
