From the television set to the radio airwaves, the Southern Conference can be heard all over the country...and all over the world! Below is just a small showing of when and where you can catch SoCon action during the year.

In July 2005, the Southern Conference launched SoCon.TV, a live video streaming network designed to bring SoCon sports to people around the world through the internet. The network will include not only Southern Conference Championship events but also regular season events from around the league.

 

The Conference will video stream 10 championship events during the 2007-08 season, including the 2008 Men’s & Women’s Basketball Championships from Charleston, S.C.

 

Member institutions will also be live videostreaming regular season events throughout the year. Check back to SoCon.TV for a complete list of the upcoming events.

In March, the Southern Conference entered a three-year agreement with SportSouth, Part of the Fox Sports Net family, SportSouth is managed by FSN South, which has had a relationship with the Southern Conference since the network’s inception in 1990.

The 2007-08 basketball season will kick-off the SoCon television package on December 1 with men's basketball action as Appalachian State travels to Georgia Southern.

Nov. 17        Chattanooga at Appalachian State, 3:30 p.m.

 

Additionally, SportSouth will be airing the Georgia Southern at Coastal Carolina game on September 15.
