SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? The Southern Conference announced today that Elon’s Anuwat Dalodom has been named the Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for April 3.

A junior from Bangkok, Thailand, Dalodom led the Phoenix to a 2-0 record last week and at least a share of the Southern Conference regular season title. He started the week defeating Appalachian State’s Ryan Brookshaw at No. 2 singles 6-1, 6-2 on Friday en route to Elon’s 6-1 win over the Mountaineers. Dalodom then topped Chattanooga’s Mark Fynn 6-2, 7-5 on Sunday in the 6-0 win over the Mocs. He is 12-3 in singles this season, including winning nine of his last 10.

Other top men’s tennis performers include College of Charleston’s Or Deckel, Chattanooga’s Mark Fynn, Furman’s Chris Gilli and Wofford’s Andrew Stubbs.
