WOMEN’S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Brenna Burns? Davidson

Junior ? Weaverville, N.C. (Carolina Day School- Psychology Major 3.97 GPA)

Brenna finished sixth in the 5,000 meters at the Duke Invitational with an NCAA regional qualifying time of 16:51.35.  Her time is also a new school record and conference leader.

Stephanie McNeill, Sr, The Citadel (Summerville, S.C.) Stephanie finished ninth (collegian) in the hammer at the Florida Relays with a toss of 163-7.  She was also the third collegian in the shot put with an NCAA regional qualifying throw of 47-2.25.  She is a chemistry major from Summerville, SC.
