WOMEN’S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Asia Davis? Western Carolina

Senior ? Charlotte, N.C. (Harding HS)

Asia won the 400 hurdles at the UNC Charlotte 49er Classic with a time of 1:01.12.  She also finished sixth in the 100 hurdles with a time of 14.36 and ran a 56.8 split on the lead off leg of the 4 x 400 relay.  Weather conditions were cold and windy; she is an honor roll student and qualified for the NCAA outdoor championships last season. Congratulations to Asia Davis on winning athlete of the week.
