Stephanie McNeill? The Citadel

Senior ? Summerville, S.C. (Chemistry Major)

Stephanie was the first collegiate finisher at the Clemson Tiger Invitational in the shot put with a toss of 45-4.25.  She also finished fourth in the 20 lb. weight with a throw of 55-11.  She is currently ranked first in the weight and second in the shot put in the SoCon rankings.  She holds the school record in both events. Congratulations to Stephanie McNeill on being named this week’s the Southern Conference Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Hanna Parks, So, Appalachian State (Kernersville, N.C., ? Psychology Major) Hannah finished second in the mile at the Clemson Tiger Invitational with a time of 5:01.30, a 12-second personal best.  She is currently ranked third in the SoCon rankings in the mile and is ranked fifth all-time at Appalachian State.  She is also ranked fourth in the 5k and eighth in the 3k in the Southern Conference.  Hanna also excels in the classroom; she is an honor roll student.

Jessica Clendenning, Senior, Elon (Chesapeake, Va. ? Psychology 2.80 GPA) Jessica placed second in the pole vault at the Clemson Tiger Invitational with a leap of 12-5.5.  The Chesapeake, VA native is currently ranked first in her event in the SoCon rankings heading into the championships this weekend at Clemson University.
