The eight members of the Southern Conference announced the signing of 167 student-athletes to football grants-in-aid, it was announced. The Citadel led the way with 29 signings. Western Caroline added 24 student-athletes, while Chattanooga, Elon and Georgia Southern added 22 each. Wofford signed 19 players to grants-in-aid while Appalachian State signed 15 and Furman 14.
