The NCAA has moved next weekend's Division I Football Championship match-up between Appalachian State University and Richmond to Friday (Dec. 7) at 8 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.

The move was influenced by the treacherous travel schedule of Delaware, which was scheduled to play Southern Illinois on Friday evening. Due to severe winter weather, UD has yet to fly out of Iowa, where it defeated Northern Iowa on Saturday. With the Blue Hens' return to Delaware still in the air, the NCAA changed next weekend's schedule to allow UD the maximum amount of time to return home and travel back to the Midwest next weekend.

Online ticket sales begin Sunday at 4 p.m. at GoASU.com. Tickets can be purchased by phone at (828) 262-2079 and in person at the ASU athletics ticket office in the Holmes Center from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday.
