Offensive Players of the Week
Appalachian State’s Armanti Edwards (Greenwood, S.C.) and Georgia Southern’s Jayson Foster (Canton, Ga.) share Southern Conference Offensive Players of the Week honors.
Edwards ran for a school record 291 yards on 21 totes and had 439 yards total offense. He ran for two touchdowns and passed for two others in a 45-24 win at The Citadel.
Foster rushed for a personal best 279 yards on 28 totes with three scores in a 38-35 win at Wofford. Foster set Southern Conference records for most yards in a quarter (174) and a half (232).

Defensive Player of the Week
Furman cornerback William Middleton (Atlanta, Ga.) earned Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Middleton made six tackles and had two interceptions as Furman held off Elon, 52-49. His first pickoff set up a Paladin touchdown. His second interception came in the end zone to thwart a fourth quarter Phoenix scoring drive.

Special Teams Player of the Week
Georgia Southern place kicker Jesse Hartley (Tallahassee, Fla.) was named Southern Conference Special Teams Player of the Week. Hartley converted all extra point attempts and booted an eventual game-winning 44-yard field goal in the fourth quarter as the Eagles beat Wofford, 38-35.
It marks the third time Hartley has been honored this season.

Freshman of the Week
Elon quarterback Scott Riddle (Ramseur, N.C.) was named Southern Conference Freshman of the Week.
Riddle set a SoCon and Elon record for passing yards (534) in a 52-49 loss at Furman. He completed 38-of-52 passes for threw for three scores and ran for three others against the Paladins.
