SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? Chattanooga’s wrestling team is ranked No.11 in the USA Today/NWCA/Intermat Coaches poll.  The poll is voted on by a representative member of each Division I wrestling conference and one wild card. 

Chattanooga beat then-No.8 Ohio State in a dual match, 19-16.  The Mocs are ranked ahead of national powers Indiana, Ohio State, Illinois, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

The Southern Conference has six wrestlers ranked in the top 20 in their weight class. The Mocs have three of the six wrestlers: Javier Maldanado is ranked 9^th at 125, Lloyd Rogers is ranked 19^th at 174 and Matt Koz is 10^th at 197. 

UNC Greensboro has  two wrestlers ranked in the Top 20, Chris Bencivenga at 141 is ranked 14^th and Daren Burns at 197 is ranked 12^th.  Scott Ervin from Appalachian State, is ranked 14^th at 149.
