SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? Southern Conference cross country coaches selected Caroline Sanker of Davidson as Women’s Runner of the Month.

Sanker, a junior from Rocky River, Ohio, has been named the Southern Conference women’s runner of the week two times as well as the student athlete of the week.  Sanker won the Winthrop/Asics Invitational with a time of 17:12 and led the Wildcats to a team victory. 

She placed ninth at the Auburn Invitational with a conference and school-record performance of 17:05.  The Lady Wildcats finished in third of 22 teams that included No.14 Iowa and No. 25 Florida.
