SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? UNC Greensboro’s Kelly Attayek was named the Southern Conference Student-Athlete of the Week.  A standout on UNC Greensboro’s soccer team, Attayek has a 3.92 grade point average.

The Raleigh, N.C., native had two goals and one assist against Southern Conference opponents The Citadel and Furman.  The sophomore scored an unassisted goal and assisted on another.  She scored one of the two goals in the Furman game to extend UNC Greensboro’s unbeaten streak in conference matches to 17, dating back to last season.

In Southern Conference matches, Attayek is currently first in points with 14, tied for first in goals with five, and tied for first in game winning goals with two.
