SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? Davidson’s Bevin English was named the Southern Conference Student- Athlete of the Week. English, a senior on Davidson’s soccer team, has a 3.74 grade point average in Biology.
Bevin, a Charleston, S.C., native, had back-to-back shutout wins. Bevins didn’t allow a goal in a 1-0 win against Furman and held Francis Marion scoreless in a 4-0 victory. She had a combined 11 saves in the two wins.
Bevins collected her fourth and fifth shutout of the year and her 15th and 16th of her career which is tied for third in Davidson history. She ranks fifth
