SPARTANBURG, S.C. ?Southern Conference cross country coaches selected Rick Myers of Elon as Men’s Runner of the Week for October 8.
Myers, a junior from Jacksonville, Florida, ran 26:20 on a very sloppy and muddy course at the Walt Disney World Classic. Myers finished 23rd overall helping his team to a fourth place finish of 41 teams.
Other Top Performers:
Todd Wilde, a sophomore from Appalachian State, finished fourth at the Gardner-Webb Open with a time of 20:59 for a 6K race.
