SPARTANBURG, S.C. ? The Southern Conference announced that Chattanooga’s Leslee Ball has earned volleyball player of the week honors.

Ball, a senior from Sycamore, Ill helped lead the Lady Mocs to victories over Kennesaw State and conference foe Georgia Southern.  She also helped the Mocs to their seventh straight victory and 4-0 in conference play. 

The 5’11 middle blocker had 37 kills, 7 blocks, 18 digs and a hitting percentage of .333. Ball had 23 kills, 9 digs and 5 blocks in the Georgia Southern match.  Ball leads the Southern Conference in kills per game with 5.15.

Other top performers include Katie Pierucci of Davidson, Lauren Copenhagen of Elon, Branagan Fuller of UNC Greensboro, Tiffany Blum of College of Charleston, Ali Rook of Western Carolina, Carla Durham of Appalachian State and Brittany Thompson of Wofford.
