BROWNS SUMMIT, NC - Angie Hill shot a tournament low and College of Charleston record 67 in the third round to lead the Cougars to a 15th-place finish at the NCAA Women’s Golf East Regional held at Bryan Park Golf Course.

Tennessee won the tournament with an 864 to advance along with the other top eight schools to the NCAA Championship.

Tennessee’s Marci Turner won individual medalist honors. The Cougars totaled 899 in three rounds which was a school record.

Hill jumped 40 spots with her 54-hole total of 218 to tie for 15th. Megan Miller tied for 61st with her 227 and tied for 69th was Jenn Bellso with a 228. Gretchen Zoeller finished with a 232 to tie for 86 and Julia von Rohrscheidt’s 234 put her tied for 92nd.
