Cal State Northridge 5, Wofford 2
The Wofford women's tennis team, in California on spring break, lost 5-2 at Cal State-Northridge Wednesday afternoon in its lone match of the trip in Northridge, Calif. The Terriers were slated to face Azusa Pacific Tuesday, but the contest was cancelled due to rain.
Against CS-Northridge, Wofford garnered its two points in singles action. Senior Ellen Rogers tallied a 7-5, 6-1 triumph at the No. 1 position against Silvia Gutierrez. Sophomore Adriane Hodges also was victorious, claiming a 7-5, 6-3 win over YuYu Myinttun at the No. 5 slot.

The loss drops the Terriers' record to 12-8, while the Matadors improve to 10-5. Wofford will return to Spartanburg Thursday and prepare for a home Southern Conference meeting with College of Charleston at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Reeves Tennis Center.
