BROWNS SUMMIT, NC ? Ashley Parrott shot a 78 and Gabby Dimora shot a 79 for UNC Greensboro on Sunday as the Spartans finished 17th at the Bryan National women’s golf tournament held at Bryan Park GC.
Georgia won the team trophy, finishing five shots ahead of defending champion Duke. The Bulldogs’ Taylor Leon shot a final round 69 to claim the individual title, finishing three shots ahead of Duke’s Amanda Blumenherst.
Parrott, Dimora and Lacy Miller were UNCG’s highest individual finishers, placing in a tie for 78th place with a tournament score of 241.

BROWNS SUMMIT, NC - The College of Charleston women's golf team shot a 300 today to total 927 and finish 13th at the Bryan Park Intercollegiate held this weekend at the Bryan Park Champions Course.
In a tournament field consisting of 10 of the nation's top 20 teams, Georiga held on to win the event, shooting a tournament-low 284 in the third round to total an 875 in 54 holes. Duke followed at second with an 880, just five strokes back.
Georgia's Taylor Leon won individual medalist honors with a three-day total of 213.
Cougar Angie Hill led the CofC effort with a 54-hole total of 228 for a tie at 33rd, while Megan Miller tied for 41st with a 230. Jenn Bellso tied for 61st with her 236, along Julia von Rohrscheidt. Rounding out the Cougar effort is Gretchen Zoeller with her 239, good enough for a tie at 73rd.
The Cougars travel to Burlington, N.C., to take part in the Southern Conference tournament beginning April 21st.

BROWNS SUMMIT, NC - Kathleen Ekey carded a final round 76 and fellow freshman Blair Lamb posted a 75 and claimed a tie for ninth place Sunday at the Bryan National Collegiate at Bryan Park Champions Course.
Ekey (78-78-76=232) registered one birdie in the final round while notching her lowest score of the three-round event. Lamb totaled two birdies on the front nine on her way to a top ten finish.
Georgia's Taylor Leon fired a third round 69 to claim medalist honors with a three-round three under par 213. Georgia also grabbed team honors after posting a three-round total of 875 (+11).
Furman will take next weekend off before taking part in the Southern Conference Championships April 16-18, in Elon, N.C.
